Our mission is to bring the Chester County community and our local parish together in a safe, family fun environment to welcome the Summer and enjoy a family-oriented old-fashioned festival absent third-party vendor booths.
This festival was reintroduced in 2007 after a 50 year absence from the community life of Downingtown through the persistent and hard work of Downingtown mainstays Frank Manetta, Joe Cippolini (deceased) and the Knights of Columbus. St. Joseph parishioners and friends are happy to bring big, bright smiles to the faces of children and adults alike. We extend our hand in friendship from the parish to the community.
With more 4,600 families and nearly 15,000 parishioners, St. Joseph is the largest parish in Chester County and the second-largest parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It is one of the most vibrant and active Catholic communities on the Main Line.
